Parent Teacher & Friends Association (PTFA)
The PTFA (Parent Teacher & Friends Association) provides a valuable link between parents, teachers and friends, to enrich our school community. The aim of a PTFA is to encourage good relations between staff, parents and others associated with the school, to support the school and to advance the education of the pupils in it. The objectives of a PTFA are; to organise fund-raising activities, to involve as many people as possible and to make the activities fun!
The core committee, along with other fantastic parent volunteers, plan and run all different events at school, such as: Cake Sales, Discos, Summer/Christmas Fairs, Welcome Meetings for new parents, Film Nights and more!
So far, thanks to the fundraising efforts and support from parents who join in with these activities, they have provided: Books for our library, R.E resources, gardening equipment for our Wildlife Area, class Christmas presents and much more.
We have also raised money for a variety of charities and donated Easter Eggs to Kettering Hospital.
Our Co-Chairs of the PTFA are Mrs Laura Allanson, Mrs Jo Carter and Mrs Lucy Tarry.
